Research Alert - Crystal Systems raised

Gruntal & Co. said Monday that it raised its intermediate-term rating on software maker Crystal Systems Solutions Ltd. to outperformer from market performer.

• The acquisition of Mainsoft Corp., which develops and markets a Windows platform for UNIX and LINUX systems, "significantly expands addressable market opportunities as well as Crystal's core competency in conversion technologies," Gruntal said in a research note.
